18 01 2007Today is the beginning of simplifying every aspect of my life.
What made my day:
I got to meet Brittany at Rendevous for coffee on break.
I’m buying three different books tonight:
1. Walking on Water - Madeline L’Engle
2. The Irresistible Revolution [living as an ordinary radical] - Shane Claiborne
3. my OWN copy of: Velvet Elvis - Rob Bell
I’ve also been zoned out all day. In class this morning, driving, at voice and church- I was anywhere but here. Today was definitely an inverted day.
I had the most amazing time with God last night. Oh, how I’ve missed Him so. I can even begin to tell you :] I’ve been seeking but completely faith without any feeling… but I felt last night. What a gift. I think I haven’t “felt God” for awhile because I think I took it for granted. I pray I never do that again… it’s incredible. He’s incredible. I began a new journal (number 29!) last night- the one Andrew gave me for Christmas. And I just realized I have yet to pos those pictures Brittany and I took attempting to break into an old school nearby on Sunday.
