 My dear friend, Carissa, who has been doing mission work in Peru for the past 4 months, sent me a letter day (air mail!). It came at the most perfect time. She also sent a necklace that she got in Iguitos. It’s beautiful.

We’re prayer partners and I felt her prayers when I put it around my neck. It’s handmade with little stones and ties in the back with a shell.

I woke up sick this morning and it’s beginning to pass… thank goodness. I hate being sick. I’m also picking up my formal dress today with Alli. You’ll see it soon enough, and I’m flying solo this year as I always have.
